CCC Entertainment, LLC is a family-run business based in Corpus Christi, Texas. Founded by the Campbell family, the company’s focus is to bring a youth boxing club to South Texas in order to help troubled youngsters by getting them off the streets and providing them with mentoring, training, and career opportunities.

CCC Entertainment’s boxing club is projected to have a significant impact on regional tourism and national recognition for Corpus Christi. Its mission unites the community for a worthy cause that not only does good for our youth but provides the area with an enjoyable pastime.


Clayton Campbell - President
A Corpus Christi native and proud member of the local community, Clayton Campbell has always wanted to raise his family in his hometown where he was raised by his parents, Mary and Dr. Charles and Campbell.

Clayton attended Southern Methodist University, where he received a B.A. degree in Biology. He earned a Masters of Business Administration at Shreiner University and a Masters of Healthcare Administration at Texas Woman's University. At Southern Methodist University, Clayton played two years of Division 1 football.

He is currently the president of CCC Entertainment, an administrator at South Texas Retina Consultants, and a Port Aransas weekend fishing guide. Previously, he worked as a realtor and as a hospital administrator.

He met his wife, Emily, in Dallas and they have two amazing children: Fisher and Mary Helen. Clayton feels so blessed to be their dad.  Clayton enjoys cooking, fishing, watching football, and spending time with his family.

Mary Campbell - Vice President
One of the few female boxing promoters in Texas, Mary Campbell brings a wealth of business and marketing expertise, along with lots of enthusiasm, to her role as marketing director of CCC Entertainment.

Mary is the founder and president of two successful oil and gas companies in Corpus Christi, Texas: Martex Energy and Dorchester Royalty. While she is proud of her professional success, she is equally as proud of her achievements in helping her community, a lifelong passion that is reflected in her volunteer service.

Mary serves as a member of numerous nonprofit boards, commissions, and foundations. She also organizes and chairs fundraising events. Yet, Mary still finds time to don a big red nose as a member of “The Clowns Who Care,” a program that brings smiles to young patients at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi. If anyone can get the job done, it’s Mary.

Mary is married to Dr. Charles Campbell. They reside in Corpus Christi and have five grown children and 12 grandchildren.

Dr. Charles Campbell - Manager
Charles "Charlie" Campbell attended the University of Texas at Austin and received an undergraduate degree in Zoology. Charlie attended Tulane Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he also did his internship at Charity Hospital.

Charlie was drafted during the Vietnam War. He and his new bride, Mary, relocated to a training base for the fighter pilots in Las Vegas, Nevada. Later he would serve in the Gulf War.
Charlie returned to New Orleans to do his residency in Ophthalmology at Ochsner Clinic, then did his fellowship in retina surgery at Baylor University. He is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal eye surgery.

In 1974, he moved his family to Corpus Christi, Texas, and founded South Texas Retina Consultants. In his 40 years of practice, he has served as president of the Nueces County Medical Society, as a member of a special committee for the Texas Medical Association’s Committee on Rural Health where he appointed by the Texas House, and as medical director of the South Texas Eye Foundation. He was a pioneer in developing clinics in rural areas.

Charlie is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, International College of Surgeons, and American Association of Integrated Medicine. He is a past medical director of Project Orbis, a global project for the exchange of professional skills which provides free ophthalmology training worldwide.

Charlie enjoys working, helping others, spectator boxing, reading, and spending time with his family. He loves an adventure and has traveled the world, from Turkey to Indonesia to Costa Rica.

Colin Campbell - Manager
Colin Campbell is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas. He is the son of Mary and Dr. Charles Campbell. He manages, promotes, and finds talent throughout the United States for CCC Entertainment.

Colin graduated from Schreiner University with a degree in Marketing. He has been employed with South Texas Retina since 1999. As well, Colin is a national marketing director at the National Safety Association “Juice Plus.” Here, he helps promote better health and nutrition.

He is married to Denise Campbell and has three children, Colin Mortimer Campbell, Jr., Caitlyn Barrett Campbell, and Carson Wells Campbell, who absolutely adore their father.

Colin enjoys fishing and has taken it to the next level as the founder of Campbell Charters. Captain Colin is one of the best guides on the South Texas Coast.

In his youth, he played and excelled in several competitive sports and knows the hard work and determination it takes to become an elite athlete. Colin has a passion for the sport of boxing and is excited for what’s to come.
